SEANF Members Sign MOU on Anti-Trafficking PDF Print E-mail
Members of the South East Asia NHRI Forum signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Against Trafficking of Women and Children on March 30, 2010 during its 7th Technical Working Group meeting held at Traders Hotel, Manila, Philippines.

Under this MoU, the human rights commissions of Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand agreed to undertake activities to combat trafficking of women and children, and strengthen initiatives to support the efforts undertaken by their respective governments in investigating cases of trafficking of women and children as well as prosecution and punishing of traffickers.
